• Day 1

  Kigali - Volcanoes National Park

  You will be pick-up from the airport or hotel by our professional driver/guide, take part in a meet and greet and then drive north to Volcanoes National Park. Upon arrival at the Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge you will check-in, have lunch and settle in and relax. Later in the afternoon you will be driven to the Ibyiwacu Cultural Village for an amazing cultural experience. There you will see traditional dance and performances, eat the local food, learn about the traditional healer, showcasing their healing practices and interact with the local people. Later in the evening you will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

• Day 2

  Golden Monkey Tracking

  After an early breakfast you will drive you to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters in Kinigi. Park guides will organize you into groups and provide a briefing about the “dos and don’ts” while you are in the park. After the briefing you will be taken to the park entrance and begin your trek into the forest. You will a determined amount of have time to explore and enjoy a group of 80 members of a golden monkey family in their bamboo forest. After this experience you will be driven back to the hotel for lunch. After lunch you will check-out and travel west of Rwanda towards Lake Kivu on the beach. You will arrive and check-in at Lake Kivu Serena Hotel, have dinner and then turn in for the night.

• Day 3

  Gisenyi - Kigali

  After an early breakfast you will take off on a kayaking Tour on Lake Kivu. You will explore the wildlife on lush green scenic shores set against the blue water. Upon return to the hotel you will then go for a boat cruise. After the cruise you will go back to the hotel for lunch and then check-out. You will then start your journey back to Kigali with a stop-over at souvenirs shops. Upon arrival in Kigali you will be dropped off at your hotel/airport. This is where the safari will end.
